Benefits & Deficiency Symptoms
Historical Use of Silver:
Silver has traditionally been used as a natural alternative to antibiotics. Unlike antibiotics that indiscriminately kill all bacteria, silver is selective. It destroys only the anaerobic bacteria while leaving the aerobic bacteria unharmed. Typically the anaerobic (nitrogen breathing) bacteria are the ones that make us sick. Aerobic (oxygen breathing) bacteria are usually the good guys like the acidophilus that we need in our intestines to help our digestive system function properly.
Silver Benefits:
Water-soluble silver may be used internally to fight illness or infection. Using silver instead of regular antibiotics does have some advantages. By using silver, one may combat invading bacteria (and viruses), without upsetting the balance within the intestine. Regular antibiotics kill all the intestinal bacteria including the good ones, allowing opportunity for yeast organisms to overpopulate the body. That causes problems.
When there is an infected area of the body and water-soluble silver is applied to that area externally as a spray, the infected area turns redder. One could think that the infection is getting worse except that there is no increase in the pain associated with the infection. After the water-soluble silver spray is applied, the red color diminishes and so does the pain. From all appearances it would seem that applying water-soluble silver to the body externally has the ability to pull infection to the surface and kill it.
Silver has been used for thousands of years for health care. It is believed that silver is a systemic disinfectant and works like a secondary immune system.
Some Symptoms of Silver Deficiency and Some Diseases Where the Use of Silver May be Beneficial:
Anthrax, athlete's foot, boils, candida, cerebro-spinal meningitis, colitis, cystitis, dermatitis, diphtheria, diplococcus, dysentery, E. coli, gonorrhea, impetigo, infection, influenza, intestinal trouble, pneumococci, ringworm, shingles, staphylococci, tuberculosis, warts, and whooping cough.
Note:
Silver benefits and/or deficiency symptoms are generic for the mineral. No product claims are being made or implied.
Ionic* Silver (300 ppm), Purified Water.
* "Most minerals [from food] are 8-12% absorbable, Chelated Minerals are 40% absorbable, and liquid... Minerals are 98% absorbable, being 7000 times smaller than Red blood cells, with negative-charge for absorption." - Joseph B. Marion; Anti-aging Manual. ("With a negative charge" means the minerals are ionic.)
Suggested Use for Silver:
Adults: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon daily. May be added to fruit or vegetable juice.
For use with children under the age of 14, consult a health care professional.
Important Notes Concerning Silver:
The suggested daily amount of Silver is an absolute minimum intended to supplement a very well balanced diet. Should your diet be less than perfect, increasing your Silver intake may be beneficial.
These days even well balanced diets may not provide all the essential nutrients. In 1936 Rex Beach stated in Senate Document #264, "The alarming fact is that foods--fruits and vegetables and grains--now being raised on millions of acres of land that no longer contains enough of certain needed minerals, are starving us--no matter how much of them we eat!" Do our farm lands produce any better crops today?
Since ionic Silver does not build up in the body, it never reaches toxic levels. Therefore feel free to find the amount that works best for you.
