ITALIAN SEASONED VEGETABLES
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach
1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes, cut up
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. Italian seasoning, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can (15 oz.) butter beans (drained)

In a large saucepan combine spinach, tomatoes, green pepper, onion, sugar, Italian seasoning, garlic and salt. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 20 to 30 minutes; stir often. Add beans; heat through. Makes 8 servings.

ITALIAN SEASONED BREAD SLICES
1 stick butter (melted)
2 tsp. Italian seasoning (or to desired taste)
Garlic salt to taste



Add Italian seasoning and garlic salt to melted butter. Stir. Spoon and spread on slices of bread. Cut into triangle shapes. Bake in oven on low heat until dry like toast. Delicious with any Italian dish, spaghetti. Can also cut into small squares for salads. Store in airtight container.
