Coral Calcium Plus™ is here with maximum strength amounts of coral mineral powder in each serving. Get a blast of 1000mg's of the purest coral powder in EVERY CAPSULE! Coral Calcium is a salt of calcium derived from fossilized coral reefs. Because living coral reefs are endangered and cannot be harvested without significant damage to the ecosystem, coral calcium is harvested by grinding up above-ground limestone deposits that were once part of a coral reef. Our Coral Calcium powder is gathered from the plentiful above ground reefs off the coast of Japan. Only the best nutrition at the best prices here at SharpWeblabs.com! Coral Calcium is the preferred source for readily absorbable and accessible calcium in the body. Superior 100% pure fossilized (above ground) coral calcium is harvested from Okinawa, Japan – home to the longest-lived people on earth. Pro Health Coral Calcium is harvested above ground, meaning that it poses no harm to living coral.
This unique formula contains an alkaline form of calcium that supports the body’s pH (potential hydrogen) balance to promote tissue health. Coral calcium promotes healthy oxygen levels in the body to help maintain immune system function and promote waste removal. This advanced formula also contains a variety of other trace minerals like magnesium that are important for bone health and strength, as well as for maintaining optimal enzymatic activity.
The Importance of Alkalinity
Calcium supports the alkalinity of the fluid that surrounds your cells. An alkaline, versus acidic environment is believed to be one of the major factor in tissue health, aging and immune strength. Maintaining an alkaline pH is critical to cellular health, and if your body's pH is not balanced, you cannot effectively assimilate vitamins and minerals. According to Bob L. Owen, Ph.D., D.Sc., author of Why Calcium, “when coral calcium is added to water it raises and balances the body’s pH levels. Consumption of this alkalinized water also balances the body’s acid/alkaline levels, thus bringing about many health benefits.”
The Importance of Oxygen in the Body
Scientists have discovered that low levels of oxygen can disrupt the body's ability to function normally and can harm the immune system. Coral calcium promotes healthy oxygen levels in the body, thereby helping the body to process and remove toxic waste that may build up.
Why Fossilized Coral Calcium is Superior
This advanced calcium formula contains an organic composition very similar to that of the human skeleton, and includes calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and other trace minerals essential to good health. And because it is highly absorbable, fossilized coral calcium provides maximum benefits for your overall health.

"There are two sources of Okinawan coral. Coral which is mined above sea level and marine coral (below-sea) which is vacuumed from the ocean bottom near the coral reefs. Which is best, above-sea or below-sea sourced coral? Laboratory analysis of the two kinds shows each variety has 74 minerals and they share similar quantities of the minerals. Above-sea coral tends to have a little higher percentage of calcium - 35 to 38% while the marine variety has 20 - 24% calcium. So when you read about a company having 500 mg of coral calcium per capsule, you know that roughly 1/3 of that is pure calcium - most of the better companies will point out the exact percentage. All of it comes from Okinawan coral and toxic levels of heavy metals is a non-issue for all above-sea and almost all below-sea coral.
The fossilized coral suppliers claim that theirs is in aragonite form which is more soluble than the marine variety which is heat-treated and becomes a calcite form of crystal. This has been verified in a Japanese laboratory. The marine coral suppliers say theirs is advantageous due to a natural 2:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium. Our research indicates that magnesium has likely been added to accomplish this ratio - which is fine. Some of the fossilized brands have magnesium added too, but the fossilized companies are up-front about it.
Whenever a company promotes something as 'naturally occurring' and it has been added, it makes us wonder where else the truth is being stretched on their product. A little foray to Okinawa last summer unearthed another matter of concern regarding 'marine' coral - that is the purity of a product that involves vacuuming the ocean floor. We obtained raw marine coral product samples which have a high sand content. This is not all bad as sand is not toxic or harmful. It is just not a pure coral product. These impurities are likely the reason marine coral has a lower calcium content than fossilized coral.
Every company has a list of amazing success stories with their brand of coral which we have no reason to doubt given the well documented longevity of the Okinawan people who live on a giant fossilized coral reef and ingest coral minerals daily from their water. We favor fossilized coral for the reasons noted above. Some people also favor the fossilized form on ethical grounds - because the marine vacuuming process can be damaging to the coral environment."
